mrtg 2.9.17 patch

posted @ 10:46 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2001

I finally got off my fat ass and uploaded the mrtg 2.9.17 patch which displays information above each standard mrtg graph (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly) about the total in/out traffic on those interfaces. This patch is great for those trying to monitor capped internet connections. You can find it here.

evolution 1.0

Funnily enough as I was ~1Mb into an evolution 0.99 download, the download stopped. But upon checking the ftp server, evolution 1.0 was sitting there instead… So as it was, I was one of the first to pull down evolution 1.0 *wOOt*

And after sucessfully setting up courier imap on one of the servers @ home, evo integrates bloody wonderfully :-) All I have to do now is set up either maildrop or implement procmail and I’m set
*grin*

Return to Castle Wolfenstein

posted @ 11:53 am on Monday, December 3, 2001

Spent the past 3 days running windows *shudders* and playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Its a bloody wonderful game, which I played on the pissweak ‘don’t hurt me’ difficulty level and still got my ass kicked!
I can say I did finish the game after 3 solid days, of which 5 hours was spent of actual beginning to end gameplay (not including level restarts, swearing etc).
The ending was pretty pathetic, but what game isn’t. The end monster is very fuxing hard to beat, but nonetheless beatable.
If you hadn’t already gathered, this game is very good indeed, and passes the myrddin.org ‘this game rawks’ tests ;-)
