After casually browsing the web log reports, I noticed that some really odd people have been following external links to both my howto’s and screenshots. This is quite interesting due to the fact that this site is not advertised anywhere and usually only has traffic from people who specifically know about the site. Google bots have been seen trawling the site at least once a month and according to the stats, people are searching for linux based stuff and are being sent to the howto pages. Glad that others are getting some decent use out of them.

Traffic to the site is slowly on the increase which I guess is due to the increased amount of visitors being referred from other sites and from google searches. We have also appeared to have passed the 10,000 visitors mark which is also kewl

Its myrddin.org v2!! WooOOOooo…

And its about time too I can hear most of you saying, and it is. I have spent so long completing the backend rewrite its amazing! A quick check shows me that the initial cvs import was done on Tue Feb 12 08:18:05 2002, almost a year ago. Mind you I DID have a lot of things happen over the past year, and plenty of distractions too for that matter. Its my excuse and I’m sticking to it alright!! hehe

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new layout. As always there’s more happening with changes to the watercooling, screenshots and dotfiles sections. These updates can happen a lot more easily now that I have completed to stuff that goes on behind the scenes.
