waiting for the rain to clear
I’m not impressed that it has rained over the past 2 days, cause that means its been 3 days now since I’ve gone for a blat on the ZZR250! I’ve ridden over 600kms since I picked up the bike 2 weeks ago. I’ve been riding every single day, just picking any excuse to go for a cruise
Least it has given my hand a chance to recover. Seeing as I’ve been riding so much, I have aches in my hand muscles that I never even knew existed! Worst is the brake hand, tho the clutch hand isn’t too far off either.
Hopefully the rain will ease up and I will be able to start riding into work again (free motorcycle parking in the city rocks!), I just don’t fancy riding in the wet until I get some more experience up my sleeve. It was bad enough the first time I rode on damp roads, it gives you this really uneasy sensation that your wheels are just going to dissapear from underneath you becaue of the steep angle you lean in on for cornering, but in the back of your mind you know perfectly well that they won’t.
…I still wish I got off my arse and got my riders licence a long time ago, there’s simply nothing that compares to riding!
