getting close now…
Its almost time for me to go and sit my P’s test for my motorcycle licence!
Its been 2 months already since I got my learners licence and bought my Kawasaki ZZR250. At the 3 month mark I am able to go sit my Provisional course so I better book myself in soon. I have been riding almost every single day since I bought my bike and have clocked the bike up to 4000kms in that time.
I have a max of 6 months to actually get my P’s before I have to resit the L’s course and knowledge test all over again which would really really suck. I guess I have to put some more effort into practicing those U-Turns and slaloms. I attempt to do the U-Turn every day when I get home by attempting to do it down in the garages but its just too damn hard on that bike. The ZZR250 is a long wheel base 250cc bike and has a really shitty turning circle which makes it very bloody hard to do a U-Turn within the required 2 car parking spaces for the P’s exam.
Ahh well… Practice makes perfect I guess and I need to practice a little bit more so I can get the damn thing right! Other than that, I am riding pretty damn well on the roads now. I haven’t had any close calls at all since the 2 rear brake lock-ups I did just after I got the bike so that has been good. I also jumped in the good ol Falcon for the first time in a month the other day and it was so lame driving! I just wanted to get out of the car and hop onto a bike.. hehe I still wish I had of gone for my bike licence a long time ago
