Well, I just came back from a 150km ride on the new bike. I picked it up this morning, so I got it a few days before I was supposed to. It is an absolutely awesome thing to ride! I am almost lost for words…
I start a few weeks of annual leave this weekend, so I think I know what I will be doing
Also tied in well, its my birthday next weekend so the bike is a birthday present to myself, hehe ya gotta love it
One thing I noticed though in the few hours i have been riding it, ya get SO many looks from other motorists. Its also probably because you don’t see anything like it on the roads yet as its only a brand new bike. The bike looks bloody awesome too I might add, and that probably accounts for all the looks from motorists & riders, as opposed to looking at the sexy rider *cough*cough*

In 6 days time I will have picked up my new bike!!!
I so can’t wait to get it, its going to be awesome!!! To say the least, I am not really sorry to see the Kawasaki ZZR250 go… In saying that, the ZZR has been a pretty decent bike for me. The only problems I have had with it is the constant blocking of the carby jets due to gunk in the fuel. Unfortunately the ZZR did not have enough room to put in 2 fuel filters so the blockages were inevitable with the state of Sydney fuel. Mind you, I only ever fill up at Shell service stations and their fuel is ‘supposed’ to be the cleanest.. oh well, not to worry, I will be ensuring that I have 2 filters on the new bike thats for sure

Well, the last week was very god damn boring to say the least. I asked my boss to do the RHCE exam but with the workload I have been under recently he told me to take the week off and do the RH300 course which was 4 days of course and the 5th day the actual RHCE exam.
The course itself was personally so boring I was tempted to fall asleep. I did the RHCE exam for RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0 on the Friday. I received my results this morning via email. I scored 100%!
I actually found the exam rather trivial. .. 5.5 hours the exam was in total and I was in and out after 2hours and 15 minutes.
I am now looking forward to the RedHat Certified Architect courses/exams (RHCA) which will hopefully prove beneficial in my career direction.
