I picked myself up the other week a HDTV set top box to compliment my home theatre setup. After using it exclusively for the past few weeks I can definately say it *rocks!*
The original sole reason I got it was so I could watch Alias on tv without the really pathetic hissing sound that ya get from Channel 7. The dolby digital and general High Definition broadcasts are *reallY* impressive on my tv & surround sound gear. I have even had the unprompted praise from the other half about its awesome quality 
Furthermore, I’ve been hammering the Linux media pc downstairs, with the last week of annual leave I had recently, I had pretty much spent the whole time watching downloaded episodes and movies across the wireless network. I must say, its been pretty much faultless
